Wedding Tips

For outdoor wedding receptions, to help keep the flies away from your wedding cake, cover it with white or ivory tulle. Cut several strips and cover the cake lightly. Anchor the edges with shells for a beach theme or iridescent stones. It will still look beautiful & your guest will appreciate you resourcefulness.

If your wedding cake has damaged places, use artificial Rose petals. The guests will never know they weren’t supposed to be there. They can also cover spots on the tablecloth. I always have extra white and ivory on hand. You can also use the extra color ones from the flower girls basket. Use a small piece of cardboard can help stabilize a heavy topper. I carry one that has white on one side & brown on the other side. It works great if the cake is chocolate.
